Monetize your Hubs and Blogs, with ShareASale

ShareASale.com is probably one of the best things that has happened to me since I started with Hub Pages. I have been trying the Google Adsense tools and the Amazon Affiliate link capsules, and while I will not knock these proven examples of passive income tools, affiliate marketing just got easier with ShareASale!

First I will introduce you to the site, then a unique hubber who has worked out a complete hub on how to use ShareASale.

Joining Hub Pages was probably the number one thing to save my sanity (although you may question whether there was any sanity to be saved). I have made new friends and learned so much about writing and the Internet, in the 3 short months since finding Hub Pages. Having said that, I am not savvy like some around here. I am joining "Social Networking" sites, with no clue how to use them, or what good it may do me, seeing as the only people I meet there, I already know here! ShareASale is different. It isn't like ClickBank, where you have to decide what to sell, then look up words in Google, then keyword your URL... If you all know what I just said, you are way ahead of me!

I know my URL must be made up of the words someone might search for. Good luck! Knowing isn't necessarily enough!. I suppose that many people who write for on line publication do so in a formatted program on their computer, and then start a hub, having figured out what keywords to use, and therefore have a good title and URL. I am not that writer.

I set up my hub, then write in the capsules. It may be unprofessional, but I don't own any document program on my computer. I have about 4 more uses left on my word program. I can't afford to buy any programs, and the ones I have bought in the past went with the computers that also died there.

In all of this, ShareASale comes out a savior, and I will tell you why. You go to the site and sign up for free. My hub was about quitting smoking. I put that in and get "Quitsmoking.com" I sign up, and make my links and put them in my hub. Done! If I want to know how to monetize it further (by asking for more keywords) I don't have to google search those words, just enter my keywords on my ShareASale.com page then choose a merchant to promote. Done!

On ShareASale's blog page, and many other sites as well, you will see a "tag" cloud. Imagine that these top sites have already done their homework on keyword research. This means that if you use the keywords in their cloud for your blog post or hub, you are half way through the battle of keyword research. Of course not every word is a winner, but if you use theirs in your Google Adwords search, you can quickly choose the right ones.

Perhaps you are also a merchant, or know a merchant, who might benefit with some on-line help, driving traffic to a web-site is an affordable option with ShareASale.com! Clicking that link will take you to the merchant sign-up page. Please understand that this can work for you in more ways than one! Perhaps you know someone with a product or service to sell, refer them to ShareASale, gaining that referral, then become their affiliate. You are already familiar with their product and can do an honest review as a hub and on your blog, driving traffic to their web-site, and their product or service, collecting your commissions, this is a win/win situation!

The hub is eight months old but the content is so relevant! I have listened to tutorials on other affiliate marketing programs and other sites. ShareASale.com is hands down the easiest to use.
